Gwen Rudy is a board certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) by the National Committee of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the state of Colorado. Gwen practices acupuncture in Leadville and Frisco Colorado .

Through combining techniques of Japanese meridian therapy and sports medicine acupuncture we know we can help you achieve your goals in health, wellness and sport. We are here to help support your body and your goals, no matter how big they are.
About Me
Gwen graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. The masters program consists of over 3,000 didactic and clinical hours over the course of four years. During the program Gwen specialized in sports medicine and Japanese meridian therapy; taking in depth classes in orthopedic anatomy and sports medicine. Gwen also participated in an externship program in China at the Heilong Jiang University Hospital of Chinese medicine. Here she completed a program of study in a hospital specializing in neurological conditions and stroke recovery. She spent the four years of school studying under Ph.D, LAc. Jefferey Dann, learning Japanese meridian therapy; this included palpatory diagnosis, gentle techniques and superficial stimulation.
In her spare time, Gwen is typically training and traveling. She is a member of the USA Ski Mountaineer national team. She enjoys combining sport and travel to see the world. She is also a skimo coach at Ski Club Vail. In the summer she enjoys trail running, ultra-marathons and rock climbing!
